Who we are
Osho Ireland is a meditation group that shares OSHO Active Meditations as well as information from the OSHO International Foundation.
What personal data we collect
We collect your personal data for the following reasons:
1. If you email us we will collect your email and possibly your name and telephone number if you include it in the e-mail.
2. If you make a payment via Stripe, PayPal or electronic transfer we will hold your name, e-mail and payment details.
3. If you subscribe to the Osho Ireland YouTube channel we will collect your YouTube subscriber name.
4. If you like the Osho Ireland facebook page or you message us directly through facebook messenger we will collect your facebook name.
5. From time to time we have other facilitators who will host a workshop, in those cases we will collect your name and e-mail to pass on to them once you have requested to join that workshop.
6. If you leave a comment on this website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
What we do with your personal data
We use your personal data to contact you about upcoming meditations, workshops, to share news and events from OSHO International Foundation and other Osho related news.
We collect financial personal data to process payments for meditation workshops and events.

We rely on your consent for the following which requires an active opt-in from you:

1. When you sign up to a weekend or week long workshop

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in so you can save your name, email address and website in cookies so that you do not have to fill them in again if you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Analytics
We use google analytics to track the performance of this website and your IP address may be used to gather broad demographic information. We do not use any information which when used either alone or in conjunction with other information, could personally identify you.
Who we share your data with
We will only share your personal data with a third party when you sign up for a workshop with another facilitator.
Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service and we personally approve each comment before releasing it publicly on the Osho Ireland website.
How long we retain your data
We have set the following retention periods in relation to your personal data:
We will retain you on our mailing list unless we receive a request from you to be removed from it.
We will hold all e-mails for two years unless there is data in relation to a financial payment
All financial related data will be held for seven years to comply with tax purposes.
If you leave a comment on the website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely or unless you request us to remove it. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your personal data
You have the right to be informed of what data we hold on.
You have the right to access all the personal data we hold on you. We will ensure you receive this within one month as per GDPR requirements.
We will strive to ensure we keep your personal data up to date and you have the right to have it amended.
You have the right to have your personal data erased unless a legal or regulatory obligation requires us to keep it. We will let you know if this is the case.
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data unless a legal or regulatory obligation overrides this, again we will let you know if this is the case.
You have the right to have your personal data transferred to another data controller and this will transferred in a secure manner in a machine readable format.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. We will cease this immediately once we receive a request from you.
We do not use any automated decision making or profiling.
