OSHO No-Mind online – 25 May 2020
OSHO No-Mind is a meditative therapy created by Osho. It is a seven day process for two hours each day, divided into two parts:
- One hour of gibberish
- One hour of sitting silently
The Meditative Therapies – a name coined by Osho – are processes for freeing our energies, to renew vitality and to create space for silence. They are individual processes, done collectively . They work energetically, by-passing the conscious, analytical mind. The therapy happens – without interference of the facilitator – as we are bypassing the conscious, analytical mind and breaking through the conditioning. In this process you are both “the surgeon and patient”.
About this process, Osho says:
The first part is gibberish. The word ‘gibberish’ comes from a Sufi mystic, Jabbar. Jabbar never spoke any language, he just uttered nonsense. Still he had thousands of disciples because what he was saying was, “Your mind is nothing but gibberish. Put it aside and you will have a taste of your own being.
For the first part, leave language and mind aside. Out of this will arise the second part, a great silence in which you have to close your eyes and freeze your body, all its movements, gather your energy within yourself.
